Since there is a four year gap between this blog and the actually dates. I am going to simplify a little, so I can get this blog up and running. Sleeping soundly at 6 weeks.

The long awaited day

Well the pregnancy was great after the first trimester. The first three months all I did was throw-up. After that it was wonderful. I only gained 22 pounds. Unfortunately it was all in my upper stomache. Well the baby was due on the 22nd day of June. But did not make her appearence until 10:23 at night on Sunday June 30, 2002. Weighing in at 7lbs, 0.9 oz and 20 1/2 inches long, Miss Kaitlyn Rose!!!

I went for a sonogram and found out I was having a baby girl, which tickles us all pink. Here is her first pictures. The first is of her little face and the second is her profile.

Married life

What a mistake
John and I went to Myrtle Beach, SC for our honeymoon. That was the first time I had been to a beach. It was awesome. We had lots of fun. I loved the ride up the most. I got to stop and see, and take some photos, of the beautiful plantation houses. Then it was back to real life. At the time we were both working. I was at McDonalds still and John at Seven Springs. 3 months into our marriage we find out, we are going to have a baby. Wonderful news!!

The Big Day

On Friday, July 20 2001. John and I became, MR and MRS. Humphrey . We had a beautiful, but very short (so we were told) ceremony. Our colors were pale purple and mint green. The matron of honor was Shawnda and the best man was Charlie. The bridesmaids were Leanna and Jackie. The groomsmen were Jack and Brian.
Following the ceremony, we had a limo take us to Confluence fish and game and we had a big old reception. My brother Tyler caught the garter and my friend Andrea caught the bouquet. The was dancing, singing and food for everyone.

Engaged

One night John picked me up from work at McDonalds, and on the way to his house, we stopped along side the road. Right behind Riverside cafe, there is a small cottage-looking building. John told me to get out of the truck and so I did. He also got out, but being as nervous, as he was, forgot to put the emergency brake on and the truck started to move. Well after all that was over, he got down on one knee and proposed. Of course I said yes. We were engaged on March 27, 2000.

Dating

Dating each other was very easy since we had been friends for awhile. Our favorite thing to do was go to Seven Springs and swim. So needless to say we lost weight.

College Life

Well after graduation, we all went our own ways. We all kept in touch and tried to go out as a group on weekends. Usually we would go cyber bowling. Well I was going to Penn State and John, Devry in Columbus. And one December night ( the 28th to be exact) we were talking on the computer and with the help from Nicole. John and I decided to give US a try.
